Quality Checks

With every 100 nut sample test, we look for major defects such as; mold, insect and rancidity. We also size the walnuts before cracking them. This 100 nut sample test is provided as a courtesy so that you have an idea of the quality of your product. Please note that we are not DFA certified. 

To calculate the meat yield, we weigh the 100 nut sample, then remove the defective walnuts to calculate the meat yield percentage.
